On June 12, 2007, the PATA Micronesia Chapter recently held their annual meeting at the Guam Hilton Resort & Spa. As part of their meeting agenda, they had to elect a total of nine (9) private sector members to serve a two years term on the Chapter's Executive Committee. They joined nine (9) other members who are already on the Executive Committee by virtue of their positions as National and or State Tourism office for Micronesia. PVA's own Managing Director, Mr. Darin De leon was elected as Chapter Chairman, it is the first for Palau after 24 years hiatus from the chairmanship position. Lee Webber of Guam PDN was elected Vice Chairman, Judy Torres will serve as Chapter Treasurer, and Jae Medina from MVB will be the Chapter's Secretary.
