Top Sponsors for 2008

For year ending 2008, Palau Visitors Authority concluded another successful year in tourism for the Republic of Palau. To express its sincerest appreciation, PVA recognized and awarded its 2nd annual Top Sponsor of the Year awards to tourism operators in the community for their support and contribution towards PVA activities and programs. The awards were divided into 3-categories: Accommodations, Tour Operators, and Airlines. Top sponsors were recognized based on accumulated value of their respective in-kind contributions toward Familiarization Tours and Trade Shows.

Annually, PVA solicits sponsorships and in-kind contributions from the local tourism industry in entertaining marketing activities that are designed for media exposure, as well as, to market and promote Palau, as a choice destination worldwide.  

This year, 15 awards were given out recognizing Top 3 in the Accommodations Category: Palau Pacific Resort, Palau Plantation Resort, and Palau Royal Resort; Top 10 in the Tour Operators Category: Dolphins Pacific, Fish ‘n Fins, Hana Tour, IMPAC, Jungle River Boat Cruise, Magical Meduu, MAML Divers, RITC, Sam’s Tours, and Splash Dive Center; Top 1 in the Airlines Category: Continental Airlines.
