Our dive staff consists of experienced professional PADI Divemasters and Instructors, professional underwater photographers, marine biologists and trained naturalists, trained in Emergency First Response and DAN Emergency Oxygen. We use only local boat captains and a selection of local and international guides fluent in a wide range of languages that include English, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Palauan, Spanish, Tagalog and more.
Our complete range of scuba experiences includes day trips to Palau’s outer reefs, shark dives, drift dives, wreck dives, night dives, specialty dives and a complete range of PADI education programs from Introductory Scuba programs, PADI National Geographic Diver Certification Courses up to PADI Instructor Level Qualification.
Among our specialty dives and annual events are Nautilus Dive, Chandelier Cave Dive, WWII Wreck Diving, Temple of Doom Dive and Digital Photo Shoot Out, Wreck Expedition Week led by Sam Scott founder of Sam’s Tours, Shark Mating Season, and Continuing Education Quarter.
Our fully appointed dive center is an accredited PADI 5 Star and National Geographic facility and includes a professional digital photography shop, factory authorized Scubapro and Aqua Lung sales & service, retail dive shop, gift shop and Bottom Time Bar and Grill, our cozy waterfront café overlooking the beautiful rock islands.
Dive center amenities include private hot showers, separate rinse tanks for cameras, dive gear and wetsuits, guest lockers, and a rental center stocked with new top quality Aqua Lung and Scubapro equipment every season.
Our custom built dive boats provide safe, fast, and comfortable trips that include a complimentary visit to Palau 's amazing Jellyfish Lake. Vessels are equipped with VHF radios, cell phones, DAN Emergency Oxygen, canopied for sun protection and come with comfortable boarding ladders. For added safety and comfort we offer guests complimentary Nitrox up to 36% (with proof of certification) and observe a maximum of only eight divers per guide.

| Now that Palau's brand new 53 mile "Compact Road" is open as of October 1, 2007 the need for 4x4's is almost a thing of the past! We have revised our Babeldaob Tour to include the wonders of Palau above the water. Enjoy great views, a hike to Palau's beautiful waterfall, a visit to a traditional Palauan village and Bai, the famous Stone Monoliths and an insight into traditional Palauan Culture. With a smooth road and beautiful scenery all around, this is a much more pleasant trip. We also include a visit to Palau's new State Capitol Complex in Melekeok. Make sure you bring your camera! A TRIP to JELLYFISH LAKE with SAM'S TOURS!
A trip to Jellyfish Lake is a must for every visitor to Palau! For those who are diving with Sam's Tours we offer frequent complimentary side trips to the lake while enroute to and from the outer reef dive sites but we don't actually dive in the lake at all, we only snorkel.
For those who are not participating in dive trips, we offer visits to Jellyfish Lake as part of our guided Rock Island Tours which also include visits to a wide selection of Palau 's other natural highlights including beautiful beaches and snorkel spots. Tours are lead by a Naturalist Guide and include hotel transfers, lunch & refreshments & complimentary use of snorkel equipment.
Getting to Jellyfish Lake requires a short but somewhat steep hike up and over a rocky limestone path followed a short swim / snorkel from the dock out towards the center of the lake where the Jellyfish tend to congregate.
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat & light rain jacket; good footwear that you don't mind getting wet and don't forget your camera! Hard soled dive booties are available for rent at Sam's Tours
